What is your jewellery made of?

With the exception of earring posts and butterfly backs (sterling silver), all our jewellery is currently made of recycled sterling silver with the view of also using recycled gold in the future. Recycled precious metals are a great way of reducing our impact on the environment as there is enough material currently in circulation around the world to cover demand. Recycled sterling silver (aka Ecosilver) has the same properties as conventional, newly mined silver.

What packaging do you use?

Your chosen piece will arrive in sustainable, partly recycled and fully recyclable packaging, with no plastic to worry about. The postal box is made of recycled cardboard and the gift box is from sustainably sourced paper (FSC certified). If you don't wish to keep the gift box to store your new treasure, you can simply put it in the recycling.   

Delivery & Shipping

When can I expect my order?

All pieces of jewellery are handmade specially to order. I aim to dispatch all orders within 5 - 10 days of the ordering date. Please keep this in mind when ordering and contact me directly to have a chat about what can be done if you need your order more urgently.   

What countries do you ship to and how much is delivery? 

UK shipping only, using Royal Mail services.

Returns & Cancellations

Making you happy is why we're here so if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, I'm sorry to hear that. Please contact me immediately via email (hello@galejewellery.com) or DM me on Instagram (@galejewellery)and we will find the best solution. Find more details below.

I have received a damaged item, what should I do?

All GALE jewellery is handmade with great attention to detail and thorough quality checks. In case it did not reach you in perfect condition we can either exchange it or refund you in full upon return. Please let me know as soon as you have received the item with a picture and a description of the fault. I aim to respond within 24 hours. 

My ring doesn't fit well.

If you have ordered an incorrect ring size, I'm happy to resize it for you free of charge, although the cost of postage will be your responsibility. 

I have changed my mind and just want to return the item.

If for any reason you don't wish to keep your item you need to contact me within 14 days of receiving it. Then you have another 14 days to return the product, which must be unworn and in its original packaging. You will be refunded within 14 days after I receive the return. Please note you will be responsible for the shipping costs and they are non-refundable. 

I need to cancel my order.

If you need to cancel your order please let me know as soon as possible. I can't cancel your order once it's been shipped, in which case the return policy will apply instead if you don't wish to keep the item.
